QLD Small Business:
- The QLD government has offered demand driven grants of up to $75,000 for primary producers, up to $50,000 for affected small businesses and not-for-profit organisations, and $20,000 for sporting and community clubs and associations will be available through Queensland Government agencies to help flood-affected communities get back on their feet. These grants will be available through the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority, call 1800 623 946 or https://www.qrida.qld.gov.au/business . Applications close 5 September 2022.
NSW Small Business:
- If you’re a small business or a not-for-profit organisation in NSW, and you’ve been directly impacted by the storms and floods from 19 February 2021 to 7 April 2021, you may be eligible for a flood disaster recovery small business grant. The flood disaster recovery small business grant of up to $50,000 is to help pay for costs of clean-up and reinstatement of a small business or not-for-profit organisation’s operations. You must be a small business or a not-for-profit organisation in a defined disaster area to be eligible.
